New Grad Onboarding
Welcome to the Allen School! We’re so excited you’ll be here!
New Grad Orientation: September 18-19, 2024
The Allen School is thrilled to have you join the doctoral program in the upcoming academic year! The pages here will help walk you through the steps needed to confirm enrollment, register for classes, order your computing hardware, and more.
Over the next few months, we’ll send some information via email. But until then, please complete the following steps ASAP:
- Confirm your enrollment and pay the Enrollment Confirmation.
- Complete the New Grad Onboarding Survey by April 30, 2024 – it’s how we assign your advisor(s), desks, and more.
NOTE: The survey will require sign-in with email and will allow you to update your response if you need to later. - Add “Important Dates” to your personal calendar. Start a calendar if you don’t already have one.
- Create email rules or filters to highlight emails from jeckert1@cs.washington.edu and new-grads@cs.washington.edu. Make sure that we have an email address for you that you check regularly over the summer.
- Start exploring your housing options as well as the rest of this website! Joe will send reminders throughout the summer.
