Information Sessions

Prospective Freshman

Intended Audience: Current high school students interested in applying to the UW Allen School as Freshman applicants. 
  • The Allen School offers an information session for prospective high school students on the first Friday of every month from 3:30PM – 4:30PM PT
  • Our information sessions are offered in a hybrid format. For students interested in attending in person, the sessions are held in the Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science & Engineering (CSE1) Room 691 (Gates Commons). You can also join us via Zoom here. For in-person attendees, there will be a short tour of the two Allen School buildings immediately following the session. 
  • Optional: Register with the Office of Admissions!

Note: The January 3, 2025 information session will be offered only online!

Prospective Transfer Students

Intended Audience: Students currently attending another college or institution and are interested in applying to the Allen School as a Transfer applicant. Running Start students should attend our Prospective Freshman Information Session.
  • During the academic year, the Allen School offers an information session for prospective transfers on the second Thursday of the month from 3:30PM – 4:30PM PT.  
  • Our information sessions are offered in a hybrid format. For students interested in attending in person, the sessions are held in the Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science & Engineering (CSE1) CSE 305. You can join us via Zoom here. For in-person attendees, there will be a short tour of the two Allen School buildings immediately following the session.

Current UW Students

Intended Audience: Students who are enrolled at the University of Washington – Seattle Campus and are interested in applying to the Allen School. 

The Allen School offers an information session for current UW students on the second Tuesday of every month from 3:30PM – 4:30PM PT. We are hosting all of our sessions online via Zoom until further notice. You can join us via Zoom here
